Steve’s Christmas Eve NBA FanDuel Strategy Session 12/24/14: Being Dumb with Marcus Smart

1) I was dumb with Marcus Smart.  There’s no other way to put it.  I was overexposed to a risky asset on a night where there were so many other options.  If Smart would have exploded, I probably wouldn’t have learned from my mistake.  Perhaps, this was a blessing in disguise.

2) Tony Wroten’s Mysterious Knee Injury announced after Lineup locks killed me..I swapped him in for Reggie Jackson and look what happened…

3) Like the stock market, there is no guarantee in any of this.  Information asymmetry exists-there is a way to combat it though..Watch today’s strategy session and find out how!!

4) MOST IMPORTANTLY, HAVE A HAPPY AND HEALTHY HOLIDAY. The team at appreciates your generosity and your contributions to our rapidly growing NBA community.

Our lineups for Christmas Day will hopefully be worthwhile presents for you come Christmas morning!!  Like always, we’ll make sure to get them up in plenty of time for your convenience.

I would appreciate the referrals for FanDuel or Fantasy Draft if you feel inclined to do so!!

  1. a note on marcus smart – it was announced about 5 minutes before game that stevens would not start him and start nelson instead. I noticed this just after lock on rotoworld news and knew we would be in trouble with him. NBA dfs is tough with all the late scratches and starters. just got to keep on top of it. Live and learn like you said
